By definition, a Sanctuary is a place of refuge or safety. To me, it goes beyond those simple words. A Sanctuary is a place, hidden from the world. A place people can go to be free from disturbances that block our true introspect. A place where we can peacefully and safely heal from trauma and stress. A place filled with hope, strength, and growth.
